Preface:

My first Eyes of Fire Demonstration was first released in 1997 in cassette format only.  I have since then digitized it directly from the original DAT tape it was stored on for this re-release, compliments of my good friend Mary of Ottomans Empire.
 

History:

In my senior year of high school I was very interested in the King James Bible.  At the same time I was trying to come up with a cool name for a band.  I was in a natural process of song writing and felt I needed a band name sooner or later to represent my music with.   One night while reading my bible I came across a scripture in the Book of Revelations 1:14, “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire” So I thought up “Eyes of Fire” that night in my bedroom around late 1995/early 1996.
 

The making of the first Eyes of Fire Demonstration:

I wrote and recorded this Demonstration as I was first learning Lead Guitars.  Song writing came natural to me.  I didn’t set out to write songs.  They just naturally happened when I was practicing.  It’s a natural need to create that I have within myself.  That’s the best I can explain it.  Before long I had enough songs to create a demo.  I could not find other musicians to form a band with and record there parts in a studio.   In fact I started to record the guitar tracks in a studio but I could never produce other musicians to play drums, bass and sing vocals.   So out of frustration I cut my losses and pulled out.  I bought my own drum machine to program all of the drums, bass guitars and other orchestral instrumentations and a cheap recorder to record them on during the year of 1996.  Before long I was able to give birth to the first Eyes of Fire Demo after laboring approximately two years.  Man it felt good to finally have that baby!
