Align People With Their Strengths

In the newsletter, Seek Out the Positive, we talked about teaming up with positive, like minded people while riding yourself of the 'toxic' people in your life.

Now that you have rid yourself of the people that were holding you back, it is now time to find and work with the people that are going to help you move forward.

Nobody that has achieved any amount of success has done it alone.  They always had a team of people helping them along the way.

Whether they were partners, advisors, motivators, investors or whatever, they all shared the same vision, goals, and ideology.

This is why I choose network marketing at an early age.

I got to work with a team of people who took in interest in my goals.

My success in network marketing is solely attributed to teamwork.

Everybody has a role to play.

Just like in sports, family, and business. Everybody has an assigned role. They execute that role and they win!

I have people who are very good at marketing.  I have people who are great in sales.  I have people who are great at training, and I have people who are great on the phone.

And I train them to focus on their roles and not to venture off into a role for which they will fail.

Successful networkers are able to position people in a role based on their strengths, not weaknesses.

This is where most network marketing companies and sponsors miss the boat.  And this is why I believe most people fail.

Most people do not like to sell their friends or family.  And, if we were to be really honest, most people do not like to sell.

So, why does every company give them scripts and role-play?  Yes, they may try it out for a bit; but it only postpones the inevitable:

Your recruit realizing that this business is not for them and quitting.

Why do some sponsors insist on making their recruits product experts, or compensation plan experts?

Chances are you have developed a set of talents and unique strengths that can be applied to your business.  It is easier to overlook your strengths because they come so natural to you.

If you get stuck ask your family and friends and people that are close to you.

Your job is to discover those talents, discover the talents in your team and then plug them into your system.

That is what I have done and it works.

Your Next Step:

Build a team centering around people's strengths.
