This is Sandy this morning just before taking her to the vet to be put to sleep.  She is completely spaced out unaware of anything.

Here she is in my car on the way to the vet.  She layed like this the whole 45 minute trip without so much as twitching a muscle.  I took this photo just before pulling out of the driveway.  She has never sat still in a car ride before, she has always enjoyed them.  I was petting her the entire ride so that she knew I was there, but I dont know if she realized who I was.

Before I put the dirt over her I placed the white towl you see in the above pictures over her body.  But first I positioned her on the pillow from her bed that she always enjoyed to sleep on in the position that I saw her sleep in more often than not.
