Morgan Roxx That person really needs to go to an OBGYN. It sounds like it’s needing antibiotics. Sometimes you cannot just ignore these things, it can be not good at all, to go longer than they have. It can get serious

Carolyn Clapper But in all seriousness, I am a medical medium, and work on medical mysteries. I (through God and Spirit) have determined illnesses ranging from MS, to Lyme’s disease, to cancer, to leaking in specific vertebrae is in the spine, etc.

My comment was meant to be funny, but I am able to go through a person and determine such things.

Kimberly McGuinness Carolyn Clapper, I think thats really a super neat thing you do. As a holistic health care provider myself I don’t discredit this as a potentially important part in a persons care. When we are looking at treating a person dis-ease or illness we really should be considering all underlying aspects.

Patrice Jahn Schwabe I have interstitial cystitis… It can be very hard to treat. I go to a very good Dr. at Freodert. I take Myrbetriq and Uribel and she also has to stay away from anything that can trigger it. Soda, acidic foods, some spices, liquor etc.

Esperanza Espi Richart I’m an Arvigo Maya Abdominal Practicioner. I would recommend she see someone that does this in your area. It’s an ancient Mayan technique abdominal massage. She needs to learn how to do it, her ATMAT practitioner will teach her. It could really help a lot. As well as yoni steams with disinfecting herbs and organic cornsilk once the infection is under control.
Look up Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy and Yoni Steams… on the Arvigo website there is a page where you can find a practitioner in your area.

Manage

Reply2w

Tom Birkenmeyer Esperanza Espi Richart thank you. Would this specifically Target the bladder walls?

Manage

Reply2w

Esperanza Espi Richart It would reposition all organs to their proper position causing better circulation and blood flow. Sometimes our uterus tilts forward and pushes on our bladders causing all kinds of stuff to be off and giving us more problems then we would expect. Modern medicine has nothing to help except horrible pills that cause other problems, or cutting us open and removing our body parts… It sounds like a strange technique, but I’ve helped lots of women including some with IC. It’s a technique passed down from Mayan shaman and midwives. It could even help prevent a prolapse. Look up her symptoms and type Arvigo therapy along with the search.. see what comes up..

Jolynn Kottke Get igenex test for Lyme and coinfections.. IC is one symptom that points back to tick born infection …

Gina Simpson Jolynn Kottke I think everyone with any symptoms of anything should be tested for Lyme. I suffered 8 years. I now am dealing with chronic late stages Lyme.
There are so many symptoms.
I know over a dozen people over the last 2 years who insisted on a Lyme test and tested positive ?

Reply1wEdited

Jolynn Kottke And the standard in house test is notorious for false negatives so they may have be “tested” but still have undetected Lyme or funky co infections… Unfortunately the igenex testing is not cheap. And typically not covered by insurance… Scandalous.

Gina Simpson Jolynn Kottke that happened to me. First test was negative. But a second blood test (different type) showed Lyme.

Please tell your friend to tell her doctor to check for IC.

Gina Simpson Tom BirkenmeyerTom #1 thing to do is diet. Nothing acid. No coffee. Yogurt. Tomato. Sour cream.
I swear it helps. Was on an antispazmotic and couldn’t urinate at all.
I suffer from this til this day. It goes in and out of remission.
I’d be willing to work with both of you to find what works.
Absolutely no cranberry or lemon.
There are a few holistic things I can recommend after the diet is altered

Gina Simpson Tom Birkenmeyer may I please suggest that although people want to help…… a lot of the suggestions I’m seeing are horrible for IC.

IC bladders are raw. They can easily be triggered into even more horrific spasms

Rushelle Shanks Gina Simpson so acid drinks and food causes the spasms?

Manage

Reply1w

Gina Simpson Rushelle Shanks yes. I was having to be catheterized daily. I researched, changed my diet and within 1 day the spasms calmed so much I didn’t need catheterization. In 3 days the spasms stopped completely. In a week I was able to stop all meds.

Manage

Reply1w

Tom Birkenmeyer Gina Simpson that’s awesome! Did you do other things besides diet changes?

Manage

Reply1w

Gina Simpson Tom Birkenmeyer nope.
Please look at the site I provided. It shows a bladder affected by IC. Eating or drinking acid causes the spasms because it’s aggravating the raw bladder.
I did ask for 2 weeks of Levaquin because I also had a low grade infection.
IC is definately controlled with diet. I do usually need a 2 week prescription of Levaquin if I come out of remission….but I immediately eliminate all acid from my diet and it does the trick.

Rushelle Shanks I get bladder spasms and pain, but I don’t have an infection. Mine is caused by my diabetes. I have to keep myself fully hydrated or the spasms start. Not fun at all.

Tracy Wardlaw A nice warm heating pack in the area to relax the spasms. Or cramping. Then talk her through yoga breathing and a guided meditation. Have her visualize the infection being burned out and healed. Have her see the healing light as an Orange Laser that is evaporating the infection.

Manage

Reply1w

Gina Simpson Tracy Wardlaw interstitial cystitis is inflammation of the bladder. It isn’t infection.

Manage

Tracy Wardlaw Gina Simpson the same applies to inflamation. Being calm and visualizing healing. Eases pain and suffering

Hollie Howell I have interstitial cystitis. Right now I’m on hydroxyzine for it, and when I run out I’m in so much pain. The only problem is that it knocks me out, so I’ve learned to take tiny pieces of the pill, just enough to control the pain without the sleepy. I often find myself unconsciously becoming dehydrated because of years of being undiagnosed, I’ve become afraid of peeing. I need constant reminders from family to drink water. Heating pads help, but in a pinch a sock of rice heated in a microwave will help if no heating pad is available.

Manage

Reply1w

Tom Birkenmeyer Hollie Howell where do you place the heating pad?

Manage

Reply1w

Hollie Howell Tom Birkenmeyer just on the pelvis, and then any other place that might feel soothing. Sometimes I have spasms in my urethra too, just just between my legs works.

But no natural remedies worked for me. I had to get antibiotics every time.
