SIDENOTES*** you are NOT trying to give them all the information in the first message… do not VOMIT all over them.. ask them if they want to hear more, and if they do then you go to the Second Message.

 

STEP 2 – ENGAGE WITH A QUESTION – Start with 2A if they reach out to you first. Start with 2B if they are responding to your pique interest question from step 1.

 

  1. “Hey <first name>, thanks for asking me about my Private Secret group on facebook. Hey just curious, why are you open to something like this? <WAIT FOR A RESPONSE> If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your most important goal you’d like to accomplish more than anything else in the world? Would you be able to do something you can’t do today? <WAIT FOR A RESPONSE> “ May I ask, why is that important to you? Maybe I can help..”

 

SIDENOTES**** They are coming to you, this is a great chance for you to Ask one or two questions and really get THEM to reflect on THEIR “WHY”… Taking a moment to slow down and ask WHY they are asking will build a deeper value and relationship and will be more likely to THEM joining the group.

 

  1. ” Certainly! Just curious, what’s your biggest health or fitness goal you’d like to accomplish more than anything else in the world? Would you be able to do something that you can’t do today? “<WAIT FOR A RESPONSE> “ May I ask, why is that important to you? Maybe I can help..”

SIDE NOTES**** If you feel like you are getting to personal too soon because you don’t have much rapport you can always start with, “I really want to help. Would you be open to me asking you some questions if I might be able to offer some help?”

 

When you feel it appropriate based on the energy you’re getting from your prospect to be able to extract the reason why behind the goal you can try this: “If I could help you <Repeat Their Goal Back to them in their own words> could you get me a really good Compelling reason why I should prioritize my time to help you do that?

When Asking “WHY” your prospect says, “because you invited me” respond with: “I haven’t invited you yet, just piquing your interest first to see if you’d even want to know anything about it. If you have any openness to something like this let’s talk about your goals. Maybe I can help..”

 

àIMPORTANT SIDE NOTES****If they are only giving you their goal and not the deeper meaning behind the goal, their “why”, dig deeper by asking more questions before you move on but don’t barrage them with multiple questions at once or you’ll raise resistance from coming across as an inquisition rather than a problem solver. I can’t script out every possible scenario but this will help you improve your connection with people as you practice. For example: “Ok perfect. What would losing 100 lbs do for you? <WAIT> What’s the deeper meaning behind that and why is it important for you to have more energy? <WAIT> What would you be able to do after losing 100 lbs and gaining new energy that you cannot do today? <WAIT>  What would happen if say six months to a year from now you are still not 100 lbs less than you are today with less energy than you feel today? The more I know the deeper meaning behind your goals the better I can help you make this time count for real and win.. <WAIT> Do you mind sharing why that’s important to you? Maybe I can help..”

STEP 3 – Have them ASK YOU to see the Full Details and expectations rather than you asking them if you can send it. This creates a powerful much more influential posture of YOU having something special for them.

SIDENOTES *** If they don’t agree to watch the video or read the details and expectations today or within 48 hours at the LATEST I recommend not sending it. If they say they will get to it next week, or if they say something like, “I don’t know when I’ll have time but I’ll try to watch today” DO NOT SEND IT or your posture and ability to organically and comfortably close them on your deal is reduced to almost nonexistent. Your goal is NOT to enroll everyone you invite, you’re sorting not selling. Instead send something like this, “ It sounds like you’ve got a lot going on right now. I hope you don’t mind, I’ll catch up with you in the next couple of weeks or something and if the timing is better for you where you know without a doubt you can watch it I’m more than happy to share the video with you. ”

 

SIDENOTES *** Don’t argue facts if they have an objection, simply lead them to a tool like the video, or point them to stories of people with results with “feel, felt, found” or “I don’t know, all I know is..” formats.

STEP 4 – SPECIFIC DETAILS, COMMITMENTS, and EXPECTATIONS (After they watch video and still show interest in a spot) (You have the option of keeping step 4 word for word, only replacing the first name and urls, or personalizing it by reminding them of their “why”.) (be sure to replace metalpalace with your own Beachbody screen name in the URL link)

Let’s say you’ve created a post on social media that has people approaching you and asking you about what you’re doing?   Here is an example of a post you could put on your timeline. NOTE – I’m not telling anyone what it is in the public post, they have no idea what it is, you’ll get into what it is through the 5 step process in one on one exchanges:  

Quick question: If I could provide you with a 21 day fool-proof portion controlled eating plan telling you exactly what to eat that comes with a 30 minute per day workout program that guarantees the average person a weight loss of at least 10 pounds or more in three weeks, would you be interested?

***Segway into step two via private message with every person who likes, comments, or shares.

 

Let’s say you’re just having a normal conversation with someone, they start bringing up pains in their life, you dig deeper with questions to find out what’s going on and you’re searching the files of your mind for a comfortable way of inviting them to look at your deal. MEMORIZE this one so you can recite it off the top of your head at any given moment or you’ll be kicking yourself from not being able to think of what to say to invite them!

Hey you may want to take a look at what I do. I can’t make you any promises but I’m really well connected and we’ve helped a lot of people in your situation. I have to RUN fast to catch an appointment I’m supposed to be at. Quickly jot down your name and contact info and I’ll connect with you in the next day or so when I have a few minutes to chat.

 

5 STEP PROCESS – SITUATIONS/OBJECTIONS SCRIPT:

My prospect didn’t respond to Step 1 or 2, now what?

“Hey Joe! Did you get my message about our Beachbody Challenge Group? I already have people moving forward and wanted to make sure I didn’t miss you on accident! Would you rather I come back around for the next group or did you want to take a look now?”

My prospect asked about PRICE immediately after STEP 1 before we even got to STEP 2, now what?

***Personalize STEP 2 to give them a direct answer to their question. Here’s what it look like.

“Hey Joe, thanks for asking me about the Beachbody Challenge. The initial cost is anywhere from FREE to $205 depending on what you need to get started. I will send you more information in another message, but first I have to ask, why you are curious about the challenge? What makes you want more information? The more I know why you are interested the better I can help you get what you want.”

I screwed up and didn’t use STEP 2 and failed to get my prospect’s “WHY”.  Now what?

“Hey Joe, I need to apologize! I messed up and sent you the video too soon. If I truly want to help you I’m supposed to ask you a few questions so that it’s more about you and less about me. I’m still learning and I would feel terrible if you missed out just because I made a mistake. So, Let me ask you, why are you curious about this challenge? What makes you want more information? The more I know why you are interested the more I can help you by directing you to the best information.”

They didn’t respond to STEP 3: “48 hours later send
.”

“Hey Joe! Not sure where we left this off. I already have people taking spots and moving forward and I just want to make sure I don’t leave you out on accident. Did you have a chance to watch that video or were you having trouble getting it open?”

They didn’t respond to STEP 4 or 5:

“Hey Joe! Not sure where we left this off. I already have people taking spots and moving forward and I just want to make sure I don’t leave you out on accident. So where were we? I know you wanted to (REPEAT THEIR “WHY” FROM STEP 2). Were you ready to get started now or did you want me to go ahead and fill this spot with someone else and move you to another month?”

 

OBJECTION SCRIPTS

 

MONEY OBJECTION AFTER STEP 3, 4, OR 5

HANDLING WITH “I DON’T KNOW, ALL I KNOW IS”

Option 1 (validate and Segway into the 30 days to Profit Group as an opportunity for them to solve their money struggles. Use the Pre Launch Script Phase Document. If you can’t find it, ASK!!): No problem <FIRST NAME> when you’re ready in your own time I’m here and would love to do this with you. By the way, I’m connected to a team that has this 30 days to profit Group on Facebook (a private group) that we continue the 1st of every month to help people get healthy and solve money problems at the same time so money doesn’t have to keep getting in your way. Option 2: “I don’t know about that, all I know is I wouldn’t let money be something that stops you! Sound like something you might want to try or would you like me to go ahead and give your spot to someone else and check back with you in a couple months?”

 

HANDLING WITH “FEEL, FELT, FOUND”

 

Option 4: “I totally understand how you feel. My friend Joe felt the same way and had no idea how he could pay for it until he found out that he could enroll as a coach and earn money by referring some of his friends. We invited 10 or 15 of his people, and with just 3 or 4 people joining him in the challenge he made enough to pay for his costs. Prospect sounds unsure, leery, says something about being leery of anything that requires them to buy something etc: I hear you. If you do this I want it to be because you’re making an informed decision you feel good about. Before we go any further I want to make sure we are on the same page. Do you have a14 minutes you can carve out of your day sometime today if I send you a video with more info?

 

This one works great when you’re talking or private messaging someone who wants to get healthy but believes they may not be able to afford the investment of the materials to get healthy:

“Since money is dictating so much of what you can and can not do would you like to begin solving that crushing financial problem once and for all so we can move past money and not have to weigh that against making decisions that go to your health?”

Then segway into the pre launch script sequence from there..

OR

I’m sensitive to that. I use to be broke with no job or income of any kind and very close to being homeless. I’ve solved that in a pretty massive way so I’ve dedicated myself to helping others who are broke, or homeless, to getting out. If that’s you’re scenario right now where things are dyer enough that you’re completed enslaved to money and making decisions that go against your health would you like to start solving that crushing problem even if you’re totally broke and not a penny to your name?

OR

I know what you mean when I first saw the sticker price I questioned it myself. But I found that I’m saving $180 in groceries a month which means I have more money in my pocket because of shakeology and on top of that I feel better from the health benefits. By the way..

I know what it’s like to live where money is the decision maker deciding for me what I can and can’t do. It feels lousy when money is my boss. This works very well as a follow up to someone who tells you there “WHY” before you move on to share more info with them. It also works very well when responding to someone with a history of asking for help but not taking you up on it.

“If I connect you to a plan that will guarantee your success within 90 days from the start date will you commit to being faithful with that plan for that 90 days? Is reclaiming your health and restoring your sense of self worth for the example you want to set for your children enough to motivate you to see through such a strong 90 day commitment <FIRST NAME>?”

If you really want to tap a nerve and SHAKE someone who needs to be shaken because they are procrastinating themselves literally to there death try this one out:

“Considering you have a terrible history of asking for help then disappearing, why should I spend any time helping you? Tell me EXACTLY how serious you are and why I should believe that this time you are going to be more faithful with the help that you ask for? Ultimately I do not want to offer you help if saving your own life so you can be around for your family is not enough to motivate you to be faithful and see this through.
