My Anti War thoughts:

There is nothing that anyone can do that is going to make everyone happy.   I think people should fight for what they believe in.   If what you believe in isn’t worth fighting for then your a terrorist network dream come true because historically they have always been provoked to attack by weakness’ and that is a fact.

I hate war and my heart breaks over the casualties it brings, but if diplomacy is your only answer for anything and everything then the Jewish population in the world would be extinct, France, Germany, Russia, Italy and countless other nations would be under totalitarian and brutal rule, the united states would see countless more 9/11's, the united states would have never gained independence on July 4th 1776 and the list goes on and on.

Saddam Hussein’s regime is a terrorist network regardless of there non involvement of al-queda.   Al-queda is just another terrorist network and they ALL need to be stopped to prevent future attacks on free people no matter how long that takes ( Yes prevention is a worth while cause)    Why would you believe that Saddam has no desire to create weapons of mass destruction and try to use them on American soil?  Because he says so?  Why would you believe him is it because he has always been so honest with us in the past?

If anyone thinks that we have created a temporary humanitarian crises in Iraq over the war is sadly wrong.   Iraq has suffered a terrible humanitarian crisis CREATED BY Saddam and his regime for three decades now.  Saddam has tortured and killed more Muslims than anyone living, and probably throughout all history correct me if I’m wrong?    It would be GROSSLY in-humane to not force that regime out of power to prevent further pain and suffering upon 32 million people in Iraq and probably another ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PEOPLE TORTURED AND KILLED if we continue diplomacy for another twelve years while Saddam plays more games tells more lie’s while the UN passes another 18 or so resolutions that Saddam will use to wipe his ass with.    With that in mind it seems VERY hypocritical to preach about anti war in the name of peace and human decency.

God bless the USA and Coalition forces for putting an end to the 30 plus year humanitarian crises in Iraq and putting an end to one particular security threat to free nations.  I hope that we do not rest until all terrorist networks/regimes are entirely eliminated who dare to threaten freedom.  It’s the only humanitarian and decent thing to do.  The instant that we do rest is the moment that some terrorist group will attack as they have always done so in the past and the next could make 9/11 look like a regular street quarrel.

A Colin Powell Quote

When in England at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by
the  Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of
empire building by George Bush.   He answered by saying that, "Over the
years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into
great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders.  The only amount of land
we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return."

It became very quiet in the room...
