What is your GENUINE start date?
 
Your answer to this question is a complete game-changer for you who ABSORB this <3
 
The date on the calendar you signed up you might think is your genuine start date but it is not.
 
On paper your start date is the date you signed up.
 
Your genuine start date is the date on the calendar you began doing the profit producing activities on a daily basis for 10 years in a row or more.
 
You can find daily checklists for profit producing activities in the files section whether you have a few minutes a day or a few hours. You can also find it endless versions of other successful entrepreneurs checklists all over the internet on Google and YouTube.
 
Most people you sign-up are probably going to quit. Some of them will sign up and not get started on the work until days, weeks sometimes years later. Some of them will be on again off again followed by on again and yet again off again never having consistency.
 
Some will be on again off again until they get fed up, draw a line in the sand, and produce a genuine start date where they are always on with consistency.
 
Which one are you?
 
Have you experienced a genuine start date yet or do you only have a start date on paper?
 
There is no boss here like there would be at a normal job.
 
A true entrepreneur self selects, self motivates, and self owns on everything.
 
As a really cool bonus to adopting a genuine start date, you are organically going to attract more people to want to sign up with you as they see you a rock solid consistent source of action and support.
 
I’ve had a number of people choose me over other coaches because they would look at their inconsistency compared to my consistency and I became their only logical choice.
 
If you are not consistent you have most likely lost new sign ups that you will never know about.
 
Your consistency over time will create all new magnetic attraction for people who are serious. Serious people want to sign up with other serious people.
 
Consistency builds respect and credibility and goes toward attracting better quality business partners.

Tip for talking with family and friends about your business..
 
I want to share with you how I handled some of the questions that I got being at family gatherings.
 
The question that I dreaded the most was “are you making any real money doing that thing?” or “how’s business”, implying “are you making any money yet???‍♂️
 
Now, “real money” means something different to different people. I was, in fact, making “real money”, the problem was it wasn’t a lot. And I felt like if I told them how much then it would prove their point that they thought it was a big waste of my time.
 
The BIG problem that I had is that I used to care what people thought… again, this is MY time and is MY decision, MY dreams, MY goals. Why did everyone care about what the heck I was doing with MY time???
 
I didn’t go around asking other people what type of money they were making or judging them how they spent their time. ?
 
But still, because I wasn’t making a lot of money, I felt like a loser around some of these family members and friends. ?‍♂️
 
But there is a very important lesson to learn from this feeling… you will either prove them wrong or prove them right. I chose to prove them wrong. I knew if I ever quit then they would be right and I would dread that even more.
 
Although I dreaded that question I knew it was coming. Every Christmas, every birthday party, etc. So I learned to use that as motivation throughout the year.
 
So….
 
Here’s how you deal with some of those family members and friends that make you feel just a little uncomfortable around the holidays…
 
When they say…
 
➡️ “are you making any money yet?”, you respond… “ I am, and I’m in a position to double my income in 2020”, how about you?
 
*the key word is Position (you ARE in position with your company)
 
➡️ “how’s that thing going?” ….” it’s going better than I expected”
 
➡️ “How much are you making?” …. *People should never ask this but if and when they do…
 
I turn it on them and say something like “that’s pretty rude that you would ask someone that” or I’m in a position to double my income next year” – depending on their motives.
 
Just remember…
 
YOU are in control of the conversation. You can change it at any time. Just don’t avoid it. Embrace it. Be PROUD of your business and your growth so far.
 
Most people have no idea what it takes to be successful in business and especially NWM and most are to scared to even try. If they are truly interested in your business then set up a time AFTER the holidays to meet with them individually. ?
 
Most of the time they just want to be right that “those things” never work and in that case don’t waste your time.
 
If they’re genuinely interested then let them know that you don’t want to discus business at Holiday time and go play with your children or husband or wife.❤️

My story is a GREAT example of what I’m talking about so please allow me to share this with you because it really makes a POWERFUL point in REAL LIFE to learn from.
 
The last two months of 2009 is when I became consistent and focused on the activity on a daily basis instead of the results I wanted.
 
Around June / July of 2010 I began to receive messages from other coaches congratulating me on earning SUCCESS CLUB every month since it’s conception and for being in the running for the first ever Team Beachbody Success Club MEGA Vacation.
 
I had no idea what they were talking about. It sure got me curious so I did some research and discovered this new incentive structure called SUCCESS CLUB that had just started in January of 2010.
 
I was in it every month and had no idea about it! I was soooooooo focused on the activity day in and day out that I had tunnel vision. Results no longer mattered to me. They did matter, I was actually desperate because I had no job and no income coming in from ANYWHERE else at that time. But I came to realize through personal development that the more desperate I was for results the more of my focus I needed to take away from the results and channeled into the activity. Emotionally that was not easy to do! But I forced myself through my personal development studies and went on that MEGA Trip that I did not have to pay a dime on <3
 
My story demonstrates in real life how important personal development is as well as being focused on consistent daily activity if you want to have results.
 
There is another important lesson here than just the two.
 
Results probably are not going to come if you need them. You have to work consistently on the activities that precedes them.

Who to focus on as you build your audience?

At times I like to watch ? Hispanic comedians and when I hear their routines I so can relate. They joke about how Hispanic moms?‍?‍?use “la chancleta” (the flip flop) on kids when they misbehave. My cousins and sister always share this type of comedy with each other and we laugh because we get it. The comedians’ jokes are directed toward a very specific audience. I grew up in a home ? where I knew not to defy what my parents told me to do/not to do. My mamá ? would pull “la chancleta” and watch out! I understand 100% what they’re saying. I actually thought that everyone grew up like I did.?

Anything that we watch on the screen—movies, ?news, tv shows, ? even commercials are directed toward a specific audience. Why? Because if everyone is targeted, then the message won’t be clear. What audience do you think action movies is directed toward? If you guessed men ?you are correct. What about romantic comedies? Those are obviously targeted to women.?
.
Why should our message be any different? As entrepreneurs, ?‍?it’s super important that we have a specific group of people to whom we direct our message. Not everyone is our target market.? We all have what some call an “ideal customer” a “dream customer” or an “avatar.”
.
Be as specific as possible when choosing that person. Be aware of anything that is relevant: age, profession, income bracket, gender, marital status, children– yes or no?, dreams and goals, ?what they need/want in their lives. How can you help solve their problem? The easiest way to do it is by thinking about yourself ? before you became the person you are today. Any struggles ? that you had that you’ve worked through will help you in choosing and helping your target market.?

What’s your BEST way of showing someone without a lot of money how to afford Shakeology?

 
There are quite a few takes on how to do this but in my experience, since Shakeology was first launched so many years ago, there is one method that has worked far better for me than any other method.
 
It goes something like this in a typical conversation with a prospect genuinely interested but doesn’t know how they can afford a spare dollar let alone a spare hundred something dollars.

Prospect says, Tom I want to try shakeology I just don’t have extra money to spare.
 
I say, I hear you. I was in the same boat when I started. I was told I could replace a meal a day with it. Right away I realized I probably wouldn’t need any spare money because I’m already spending money on food so this would just be a matter of re directing just a portion of my monthly food budget toward shakeology. To my surprise it ended up saving me about $180 a month in groceries which gave me a cool net savings because shakeology is way less than $180. And it gave me more health benefits than whatever I was spending that money on anyway. Would you like to give it a shot and see how much money shakeology might save you, too?

You’re at dinner with the new neighbors and he asks, “What do you do for a living?”

 
What’s your BEST one to two sentence response that might inspire more curiosity in them?
 
You never know when, just know that it will happen over and over again because it’s part of common normal every day conversation so learn how to leverage that in a GREAT curiosity inducing answer.
 
Here are some examples to help you come up with your own truthful AWESOME answer that you will put to memory:
 
I.E. I help, (insert target market) achieve (insert outcome) using lifestyle tweaks and natures nutrition.
 
I.E. I help moms get rid of their muffin tops and fit in their jeans better!
 
I.E. I help people who pack on extra weight from bad snacking and know they need to change that like I did!
 
I.E. I help people Bio hack their brain & body to function optimally, burn Fat fast.
 
I.E. I turn plants into money… But the legal way..LoL!
 
I.E. I help wives retire their husbands.
 
I.E. I help people regain their Health, and Wealth.
 
I.E. I show people how they can travel the world like a star without the expenses.
 
I.E. I help people change their relationship with food
 
I.E. I help folks live healthier lives through physical, emotional and financial education.
 
I.E. I help busy people who hate financial stress create a 2nd income from the comfort of their phone

Here’s what happened..
 
The ones that were looking for a reason not to participate didn’t anyway.. but the ones that did, gained a level of honest perspective, and they Innately trusted my leadership more because their ‘bs meter’ wasn’t being triggered.

You do have control over who you invite, how many you invite, the valuable content you share, the action you take, the education you consume, and you have all the control over how you respond to the things that happen to you.
 
Focus on where your control is.
 
Results are preceded by activity and you have control over your activity.

Because they compare themselves to the experts instead of acknowledging the fact that even if you’re just starting out, you have more knowledge in this field than the majority of the people on the planet do. Simply because 99% of the planet aren’t even in this field! ?
 
But the beauty is, there are more and more people coming into it every single day who you can educate and provide value to. Don’t buy into the myth that you’ve got to be an expert in this field to do this.
 
I am definitely no expert, but the different is, I’ve committed myself to expanding my knowledge and skill set each and every single day instead of just sitting on my ass numbing my brain with TV or video games. ?
 
If you’re serious about being successful, you’ve gotta start removing all the things that are taking valuable time away from it. Time which could be spent gathering knowledge and improving yourself instead of wasting it on cheap sources of entertainment.

If you go into this business with a half heart, or decide to just quit after a few days of not getting the results you want…
 
Then you’re going to fail. ?‍♂️
So many people compare themselves to those who have been making 6, 7 and even 8 figure commissions, but what they don’t understand is these people have been in the game for YEARS mastering their craft.
 
They’ve gone through the process of trying and failing themselves, but the difference is they didn’t give up. They committed to spending each and every single day mastering their craft, and they had the persistence to keep on going even when it looked like they were never going to succeed.
 
THAT is what separates those who succeed from those who fail. Sheer persistence and an insane drive to become successful.
 
The simple fact is…
 
Systems work but people don’t. If you’re not going commit to putting your all into this, then you may as well quit right now. You aren’t going to become a millionaire overnight. You’ve gotta lay the foundation first.
 
If you lay bricks down each and every day, soon you’ll find yourself with a castle. It doesn’t take a rich man to build a castle, a poor man can too. It just takes him a little bit longer to gather up all the bricks! ?

You can’t expect to educate people or provide value to anyone if you aren’t gathering knowledge and expanding your own skill set.
 
Failure is always better than doing nothing at all, and you’ll learn a lot more from trying and failing than from simply doing nothing or succeeding in your first go. ?

COMMIT TO BEING SUCCESSFUL. If you’re going into this with the mindset that you’re going to try for a few days and quit…
 
Then you’re just never going to achieve anything. ?‍♂️
 
So many people are giving up after a few days instead of simply educating themselves and improving their strategies. Once you truly commit though, that’s when you’ll really start making progress. If you’re not getting enough leads from messaging 100 people a day, then message 200. If that’s not working, then message 500.
 
Do everything it takes to start getting the results you’re after and the freedom you wish to have. I mean that’s why you signed up in the first place right? To get away from a 9-5 job and actually start living instead of existing? ?‍♂️
 
Well then you’ve gotta work your ass off in the short term to really reap the rewards long-term. Everyone’s gotta go through this phase in the beginning. It’s just those who stick it out who actually live to tell the tale.
 
You’ve got the same 24 hours in a day as everyone else does, it’s simply how you spend those 24 hours that will make or break your success.
 
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, all you’ve gotta do is take what the successful people are doing and apply it. ?

The two takeaways from this quote is that number one, people love and are motivated by recognition. Even if you personally are not motivated by recognition you have to understand that 95% of your team is.

The second and more powerful take away of that quote is this gives you power to help 95% of your team overcome their own stuff, solve problems, and achieve their goals simply by understanding that one of their primary motivations is to be recognized and supported. The 5% won’t need your help they are self-motivated Maniacs about their own goals!

Napoleon Bonaparte was not motivated by recognition or colored strips of paper but he recognized the power he had over his army to fight and die in battle just for the possibility of being recognized by a colored strips of paper.

The remaining 5% of your team is recognized primarily by the power of their own dreams not So Much by being recognized.

The challenge for 5% of your team is for them to recognize that just because they aren’t motivated by recognition, 95% of their teams are and so they must leverage that power to grow big massive teams.

Ask yourself openly and honestly, are you a 95%’r or a five percenter in this context? One is not better than the other. There is no wrong or right answer here. The point of this question is to Simply know yourself so that you know what motivates you to get over your own stuff and also so you know what motivates members of your team so you can help them to get over their stuff as well.

6 examples of building a business online from anywhere you have internet in a couple minutes at a time so it can fit around the busiest of all busy people on planet earth.

You may or may not make the connection between these examples and building something you own that sets you free but I will explain the connection at the end. Example #1 – life style – I took a beautiful picture of a beautiful sunrise I saw this morning and captioned it with, “I love watching the sunrise. It warms me! Share a picture of your surroundings in reply? Let’s see the beauty that is in your world.. ”

Example #2. – Real Life Vulnerability keeping it 100% real – I messed up last night! No worries today is a new! I learned a valuable lesson I’m taking with me and AM stronger and better for it. What’s your biggest struggle right now and what’s your BEST way to overcome?

Example $ 3 – humor and relatable ( I saw this from someone else) – Woke up…ate leftover garlic cheesebread…didn’t brush my hair.. or my teeth…pretty sure I stink..no makeup and yoga pants……but trying to blend in at Wal-Mart….LoL!!!!! how am I doin? LoL

Example # 4 – Ask a question or Fill in the blank – “Which is worse, failing or never trying?” “I am at my BEST when I _______.”

Example # 5 – Learn and Teach – “Ya know that PLU number on the produce items at the grocery store? If it starts with 9 it’s organic! An easy way to remember this is 9 is FINE! Next time you’re picking up some fresh produce just remember to look at the PLU number and remember 9 is fine! When was the last time you learned something as cool as this?”

Example # 6 – Share your journey and invite others to come with you for their own goals (DONT SELL) (I swiped this from someone else) – Mid day energy crashes PLAGUED ME for YEARS until recently. A friend asked me to try this super foods shake they sell for lunch instead of what I use to eat for lunch. I don’t do shakes but I was open because I was sick of the mid day crashes. Problem solved. I do a super foods shake for lunch now..LoL Oh yeah.. I dropped a few pounds too =) What do YOU do to keep from the dreaded mid noon energy crash? Happy to show you my new lunch if you’d like.

Many say they lead with heart. ?
But do they? ⁣

( I plucked this out of a networking group I’m in and I wanted to share because it’s so good )

I found there are some wolves in sheep’s clothing when it comes to business “leadership” and the leading with heart concept is just an attractive tactic for aggressive builders that will say what they need to, to get you in. ?⁣

People say they care but if you don’t comply ? to their hard coaching, listen to their voice, you see the wolf come out or aka ego. ⁣

To lead a INDEPENDENT and STEADY organization, while leading with heart, there are some genuine traits you must carry and guidelines to understand if that’s what you are wanting to attract in and personally lead. ⁣

Here are some if my tips for those wanting to create an organization as such. I hope they help you ❤️

1. Connect to a mission, have a touching purpose. How are you helping people? How are you making an impact? ⁣

2. Build a real relationship with the organization inside and outside of business. Connect. REALLY CARE. ⁣

3. Leave no person behind. Come on, not everyone is a computer savvy, seasoned speaker, extrovert with a massive network and sometimes people are just going through crap in life. Just because a person has different goals, reasons of being there, or personal life situations; it doesn’t mean you dump them or discredit their results because they ain’t your “shark” or number one producer that month. Lift all levels of growth and what the individual brings. Appreciate the fact they are even there and help them with where they say they want to go. Respect their current situations and fill their ego equally as you would with your top producers.

4. Don’t just talk or tolerate work-life balance, encourage it and do it yourself. People should SERIOUSLY self care and be healthy to be happy. Have a life with friends, family, community, sleep and exercise. Not just drive themselves into the ground while building their organization and leaving their personal health and relationships behind. ⁣

5. Share the wealth with appreciation. Gifts that make you think of the person, thank you cards, or just sharing time chatting and lifting one another up on a call or post. Recognition. ⁣

6. Have fun. It lifts endorphins. Truly have fun, laugh and don’t take things so seriously. Seriousness creates unnecessary pressure and stress, especially when people are already uncomfortable with stepping out of comfort zones. It teaches people to laugh and embrace the mess ups and to keep growing vs feeling like they are being hired on as an employee of you. ⁣

7. Believe in the power of individual differentiating strengths. No one should be the same and everyone brings something different to the table. Have a simple yet diverse duplication system allowing people to use their own creative minds while still duplicating the tools. Heck they are entrepreneurs and if you make them feel like an employee and having to conform to rules, it makes entrepreneurs cringe. It’s also makes busy mamas throw in the towel lol. Bring out the strengths in each person. Appreciate how they may grow at different speeds, lead different types of organizations, and have different rank/pay desires. ⁣

This my friends is the leadership I’d like to see more of. It’s my idea of a successful organization. If it’s not yours cool ? but it’s what I call actually LEADING WITH HEART. ⁣People are in it because they want to be in.

It’s how I live and lead every day.

I wake up HAPPY and have an organization that is independent, brings their own speed, leadership, and creativity to the table. They know I am truly their number one supporter in life and business. If they want to have a side gig or a massive organization with speed they just need to say where they want to go and I’ll point them to the correct path and be there to help at all levels. Their level of success is truly up to them and they can utilize me at any level. I even utilize them because no one is ever below me.

I enrolled a new customer with the purchase of a challenge pack with Shakeology. In my view there are two main reasons this sale Happened.

One, it was her time. She got to a point where she wanted to lose weight and get healthy. Two, through the content I regularly share on my page she felt like I would be the one who could help so she initiated a conversation with me about a healthy weight loss shake and possibly some exercise.

I kept it super simple I only really did a few things. I thanked her for thinking of me. Then I asked her a few simple questions. What’s your most important goal you would like to achieve? How much time do you have for exercise each day? And do you want a dance oriented program, yoga, or a bootcamp-style program?

With her answers I was able to pick out and recommend an ideal program for her based on her needs and interests. I used the coach codes app to get a direct link to that particular challenge pack, sent it over Facebook Messenger, and she purchased 🙂

I verified the purchase through my coach back office.

I share this with you coaches to show you that you don’t have to conduct yourself as a salesperson. Practice the concepts of Attraction marketing which is what we teach and it doesn’t feel like a sales experience. It feels like you’re sharing something with a friend and you have no emotional attachment to whether or not they buy from you.

Is knowledge really power???

Um, I don’t really think so. ?

Why?

Knowledge is the potential of power.

If you don’t leverage what you’ve learned into creating action then I’ve actually heard it’s called intellectual masturbation at professional seminars have been to before LOL

Because what’s the point of having knowledge if we do nothing with it? ??‍♀️

I’m not talking about the useless knowledge we share when in social settings. I’m talking about knowledge on building a successful sustainable business, having successful relationships, having the knowledge to know the difference between right and wrong.

We all KNOW the things we need to do to be successful (DMO) ( if you don’t know what this is Dad you are salt enrolled in a training ASAP )

But are we really applying that KNOWLEDGE? Are we really giving it all we’ve got?

Knowledge is POTENTIAL power. Power is power. But knowledge becomes POWERFUL when we implement it and USE it.

Take for example, you’ve learned all the marketing strategies, all the scripts, all the things to grow your network marketing business, you’ve paid for marketing and branding courses, but what good is it serving you if you do nothing with it? Knowing and DOING are two different things.

We must take ACTION with the knowledge you possess to gain the RESULTS you want. Nothing special and magical happens by just KNOWING! I know you didn’t waste your time hopping on a live Facebook video, I know you didn’t waste your time driving to an event, not the mention the money you spent getting there. Don’t waste your time doing all the learning when you won’t apply anything you’ve learned.

CONSUME the knowledge, then CREATE the action.

Easy to do easy not to do.

Also, the 2nd best way to really USE the knowledge you have is to teach and share that knowledge. When you share what you know, you become an influencer. You become an authority in the space for which you are knowledgeable on because you are teaching. People will trust you when you show up consistently with value. Your value is your knowledge. Share it.

You know you have a baddass opportunity! Go educate people on how it can meet their needs and solve a pain point.

You know you’ve got some kickass products! Go educate people on how their needs can be met with the product!

You know you have something to add value to the market. So go add value!

So today, I want you take something you’ve learned about taking your business to the next level, and I want you to implement it.

One of my courses I’m paying for right now just shared a really cool sample that I wanted to share with all of you right away!

This is an example of something you could put on your facebook timeline to attract people to ask you about your opportunity. In my opinion this would be appropriate to share once or twice per week. Maybe one out of every twenty posts. Use your best judgement on that for what feels right.

If you use this make sure you modify it to reflect your personal truth and how you actually talk.

Among the best ways of building your focus audience you can make your offers to is to expand your network into other people’s networks by using the FOLLOW STRATEGY..

1.) What do you love talking about and who would be your dream client to work with?

2.) Write down a list of five or more of the biggest influencers in that particular industry and follow them on Facebook.

3.) Go look at their posts and find one that has enormous engagements.

4.) Hover over the names of the people engaging in that post and click ‘follow’. Not all of them will have their follow button turned on and that is okay. Don’t friend request them, but, if you do don’t do more than a few friend requests a day.

Make this part of your daily method of operation to follow 50 to 150 people already interested in what you’re interested in per day.

Before you do this make sure your profile looks awesome with a good profile picture of your smiling face, a good attractive cover photo, and great content within your posts.

Look at your page and ask yourself if you would want to connect with and engage with yourself?

Now as you use the daily follow method to grow your focus audience some of them who you follow are going to be curious enough to check out your page. If your page is attractive they are likely to follow you back, or friend request you, or even private message you to start a conversation.

Since you all have the same common interests, because they are your focus audience that you are actively building, they are more likely to be open to your offers when it becomes appropriate and organic to invite them.

Your offer could be to a group, a free or paid for resource that will help them solve a pain point, your product, your service, your opportunity, a phone call consultation, etc.

“Hey john, I know we don’t know each other. I see you’re in Dallas Texas. I’m looking to expand my business in Dallas. Would you be open to taking a look at what it is I’m doing? If not, no big deal.”

This is straight out of Ray Higdon training. I’ve used it and I do get some of them writing me back open to looking at what I have.

Cold market just means you’re inviting strangers. The positive thing about cold market is it’s much larger than your warm market. Cold market is unlimited. Warm market is limited to who you already know. You can expand warm market to be unlimited by constantly building your focus audience so you never run out of warm market people to invite to look at your offer.

I do a combination of warm market and cold market invitations.

What I found with cold market is very few people will write me back, but the ones who do are typically open to taking a look at my offer. And like I already stated, cold market is unlimited.

When I invite warm market I get more people writing me back and the ratio of people open to more info vs not open is about the same as cold market which I think is pretty cool.

No matter what, keep building your focus audience each day so your warm market perpetually grows to.

Search a city that you’re interested in and invite people in that city! Wouldn’t it be cool to grow a network in a city you’re interested in?

12 Facebook Tips

1. Friend 5 new people a day with common interests based on your focus audience parameters. Grow your influence. Grow your list.
Don’t ? add more than 10 new friends a day or it’ll hurt your visibility ? Remember Facebook rewards popular posts. Your new friends don’t know you yet so they will not be as interactive. In other words you want to slowly add friends to make sure you don’t have a complete drop in visibility

2. Like and comment on others posts. You have to give to recieve ✔
There isn’t a set amount of time to spend before posting but the new changes reward those who are active so I spend a good 10 minutes liking and commenting before I post

3. Don’t post more than 3 times a day. If a so called social media expert tells you differently they are outdated ??
Most of the time once is enough. Yes influencers can post more because their following is so loyal people like their posts no matter what!

4. Spread out your posts. Don’t post and then post again an hour later. Now your posts are competing against each other. Let your post run its course. If a post ends up having a lot of engagement you should consider not posting again that day

5. Use Facebook Stories
Facebook wants to Take Over Snapchat so the algorithm now rewards those who use Stories. Stories are great way for others to get to see more of YOU and your life

6. Never ? leave a link in your post unless it is a paid ?ad. Facebook doesn’t want you leaving their site. Haven’t you ever noticied that your posts with links in them don’t get much traction?
? Leave your link in the comments ?

7. Facebook is cluttered. Unclutter your feed by staying friends with people you like but you don’t care to see their posts.
Click on ? see first ? on the people you really want to follow and click ? close friends ? on anyone you absolutely love seeing their content (you get up to 30). Those you click on as close friends will be the one’s you get an instant notification everytime they post

8. Have a well done profile pic and cover photo?
This is the first thing people see when they go to your Facebook page. First impressions are important.
? New potential friends are much more likely to accept your friend request when you have a sharp looking profile and cover photo

9. Unless you have way too many comments try to reply to everyone who comments on your posts. This shows appreciation and encourages these same people to comment more. It also boosts the interaction on your post which then shows your post to more people

10. Be consistent in posting everyday

?? Look at each ingredient’s POTENTIAL: SEE the potential of each ingredient (aka people) and draw it out. See GREATNESS in that person in front of you before the greatness has come to light.

A simple transition into business, “I would love to know more about what you do.”

During Rapport and relationship building you can say this where it feels natural and organic. Most people are not happy with their job and they are likely to express it back to you. This is how you begin digging for a pain point that you can use to offer a solution for.

When the table is turned think about your brand and who you want to attract. As for my example, I could respond with, “I help busy people who want a better way to make money and live a chemical-free healthy life. Tell me more about what you do?”.

Whatever your answer is have a good one that is true and generates curiosity. At the end of your answer ask another question that gets them back to focusing on what they do.

Here are a few more questions you can ask after, “would love to hear more about what you do”

As it’s appropriate and wherever it feels natural in no particular order here are some ideas for you to dig for their pain points..

You must really love that? That sounds really bad, how much longer do you have to do that for? Have you thought about doing anything different? How would that change things?

After you’ve done some digging and discovered a legit painpoint see if they are open.

“I have to run right now but I’ll be back on later. Sorry to hear you’re not happy with ______. I got involved with a company that helps people _____. Would you be open to looking at some information about it to see if it would be a good fit for you? If not, no big deal.”

Boost posts you’ve already made on your timeline for free to get more views and engagement with your audience.

Boosting your previous posts is also known as juicing those posts , it’s super easy to do, and it works.

You might want to do this on a business or product curiosity post that has a good call to action, or any post that you really want more people to see.

You boost an Old Post simply by editing that post. You can add emojis, switch a sentence around, change a few words, Etc. You can also boost an Old Post simply by adding a new comment to the post thread and commenting back on people who commented on that particular post. When you do that, Facebook sees that as a brand new post and puts your post back out there in people’s news feeds again!

Go back and boost anywhere from 10 to 30 previous posts and see how much more engagement you get with your audience. Make this part of your regular routine to boost a couple or so previous posts per day.

Today I’m sharing a BRILLIANT piece of training authored by an unknown source!

Building your digital empire on social media is a lot like farming if you think about it. ??‍???

The first thing you have to do is find the right land to farm on, and what I mean by that is, find the right social media platform to use. ✅

Farming in different places is cool, but I believe if you want to maximize your results and make the best use of your time, sticking to one platform makes the most sense. ?

Facebook, in my belief, happens to be the biggest social advertising platform in the world! ?

Now if you’re mainly using Instagram, LinkedIn, or another platform, you will want to really understand the nature of the platform first. ?

I’m mainly using Facebook, so if you’re like me using Facebook as well to build your empire, we have to first truly understand the nature of Facebook, because it’s unique. ??

Without this knowledge it’s like your farming without knowing where there is rich soil. ??‍♂️

So the first thing we need to know is that Facebook is an Advertising Platform but it’s disguised as Social Media. This means we have to be social in order to advertise. ?

No socializing and quick pitching is like planting a seed and overloading fertilizer, emptying out gallons of water on it, and expecting fruit to grow that same day. We all know this end result. ??‍♂️

“The day you plant ? the seed is not the day you eat the fruit. ?”

Of course there are lucky ? times when you get a customer purchase email ? from your funnel or someone happens to be in the right place at the right time for you to service them, but in most cases, it takes time to build the Know, Like, & Trust factor with your audience. ?

It also takes time to build an audience, and the right audience. ??

So here are powerful tips on “farming” so you can plant like a champ! ?

First conversation should be friendly but not super long. ?

Most of the time you will be asked, “So what is it that you do?” ?

This is where most marketers bomb everything and the seed blows up! ?

Let’s not do that, lets plant like a champ! ??‍???

So here’s a fire ? nugget…

Share a one liner of what you do WITHOUT pitching or sharing too much. ?

For example:

“So Jonathan, what do you do on here?”

“I’m in direct sales and loving it!”

** I personally would say as it relates to my brand, “I help busy people find a way to make better money and live a chemical-free healthy life.”

“What about you, Joe?”

Notice, I didn’t say what I’m marketing, talk about my products, or anything to make the other person feel I’m pitching.

In fact, the other person will probably want to know more, but during first conversation, I’m very smooth because I want to build the EMOTIONAL connection before going into my offer.

Here’s another fire ? nugget!

While we are chatting, I “ENGAGE-5”

Engage-5 means I love ❤️ and comment ✍? on 5 pieces of their content starting with their Cover Photo ?, Profile Photo ?, and 3 posts. This builds Know, Like, & Trust, enhances engagement, and takes the person out of messenger to react and comment, so the seed doesn’t blow up.

As time elapses, you build the Know, Like, & Trust factor with the person by engaging ? genuinely on their content, and getting to know them. Then the seed begins to truly grow.

The “tap game” is huge in relationship building and what the tap game is, is knowing how to smoothly enter someone’s inbox ?, or even better, attracting ? someone into your inbox, and giving a quick genuine, “Hope you have an amazing weekend! or wishing someone a happy holiday or happy birthday! ?

Last fire ? tip for now is…

NEVER put someone’s business down and say yours is better.

You will never eat fruit ? that way, it’s ALWAYS gotta be ultimately positive, even if they’re a part of a complete scam. There is a play though!

What I do is smoothly identify problems and loopholes AFTER compliments and in a way where the person then appreciates the solutions offered right after. ?

This you have to be wise with and it cannot be taught, either you genuinely love people ? and naturally that leads to solving problems with grace, or you’re just in it for yourself and people will see right through you. ?

Only when information is asked for do I then send my link, and I am very light on follow up, I do lots of engaging with those people and I’ll share my close with you because it’s been landing me sales. ?

“Hey Kayla, thank you for giving me an opportunity to share an exciting opportunity with you.

I know everyone says things like this but I am a true believer in friendship forever, so if this business is for you, awesome, if not, awesome.

Please message me if you have any questions. If you do decide to join I have a special gift ? for you! ?”

I’ve had people join me because curiosity got the best of them, then I buy them something (**or give them a free gift such as a cheat sheet, grocery list, whatever is relevant to what they find Value in) which further glues the bond. How to Increase the organic reach of your posts so you get more people viewing your posts, get more engagement, and more people looking at your offers..

Post 2 times per day, no more than 3. Facebook will show your post to fewer people in the newsfeeds if you post more than three times in the same day or if you post to close apart.

Space your 1 – 3 posts out throughout the course of the day.

A common example of what not to do is to post that you’re about to do a live feed just before you do your live feed. You’ll have two posts competing against each other for viewership and fewer people will see your live feed. A better way to do this would be to create a post early in the morning about your up coming live feed taking place later that evening.

If you have a post that is getting significantly more engagement than your other posts then you may want to hold off on creating a new post until the following day. Posting a new post while your current post is still HOT with engagement will cause engagement to slow down because now it’s competing with your new post.

And still the most important thing you can do to increase viewership is to consistently post content your focus audience would find extremely valuable. Entertain and Educate!

1. Group vs Business Page. Groups get better reach. Unless you have money to spend on ads your reach on a page is about 1 to 2 percent. Groups also allow members to post in the feed and members tend to be more comfortable talking about things in a private setting vs and open platform like on a page.

2. Stand out in the crowd. There are many other people that sell what you sell. People will buy in to YOU! A group allows you to show your personality and people want to buy from people they like.

3. Trust. People want to give their money to people that they trust. A group allows people to get to know you. Building relationships and engaging with your members builds that trust level quickly.

4. Less noise. Your FB profile most likely consists of every person you have ever known. LOL People that have said yes to you by joining your group are indicating that they want to hear more from you. They have taken a step closer to you. These are good people to invest extra value in to.

5. Good place to get feedback. It’s easy to think you know what your ideal client wants but you really don’t until you ask them. Ask them good question, have polls, see what they really need and what motivates them.

6. Stay in touch daily. Groups are an amazing way to talk to your audience every single day. It keeps you on top of mind. Retention of your clients and prospects comes with daily communication.

7. Positioning. Because you are showing up, adding value, building relationships, when the right time does come and you provide the right product or service, your member will think of you.

8. Social proof. As you continue to show up and members engage with your content you are showing other members and new members that you are already a trusted person. This helps new people trust you faster.

9. Share your offers. Your group should know who you are, what you do, what you offer and how they can work with you. You don’t have to hide under a rock and you don’t have to do the hard sell either.

10. Conversations in messenger. Because you have moved people from your profile to your group you now have a more focused group of people that you can start having conversations with in messenger. Business is done in messenger. Every now and again you do business openly right on the news feed but more often it is done in private.

How I magnetically pulled someone to eagerly want to know what I do and if I’d be willing to work with him..

Through natural conversation he shared with me he’s looking for a good business venture to get into. I encouraged and empowered him by saying hey that’s awesome man I think that is the better way to go than settling in with a job for the rest of your life. I got started on my own business venture so many years ago and I just absolutely love it.

This totally piqued his curiosity so he asked me what it is that I do.

I said, I help busy people who want a much better way to make money and live a chemical-free healthy life.

This really continued to pique his curiosity to dig deeper and ask me more questions.

I told him I did it all on Facebook using attraction marketing concepts that I learned so that I could attract people to me instead of repelling them. Cool concept hey? I’m still actively doing this and still actively working with new people who want to learn attraction marketing principles and live a chemical-free healthy life.

At this point he is asking me if I’d be willing to work with him or at least share more with him of how I’m doing it.

I let him know that I’ve got to get going and run somewhere but open up your phone real quick and friend me on Facebook. Here is my name, how to spell my name, add me as a friend and send me a message I promise to connect with you on Facebook and share some good info with you later today as soon as I have a couple minutes.

And that was that! I have no idea if he will end up joining. It was a pretty cool attraction marketing example playing out in real life through normal conversation.

A few things I want to make sure you caught throughout this Exchange. 1.) I didn’t tell him the name of my company or products. This way he can’t Google it, he has to continue the conversation with me to learn more about it and and also creates more curiosity. 2.) I didn’t overwhelm him with too much information which typically creates resistance when you overwhelm. 3.) When asked what I do I used my personal branding in my answer about how I help busy people who wants a better way to make money that a chemical free healthy life. The reason I do this instead of dropping my company name is because people join people. People do not join companies. 4.) At the end to keep from talking too much about it I let him know I had to run real quick and that I promise to get back to him later that day with good information. Just as we parted ways I had him open up his Facebook from his phone and add me. Remember to do that with offline contacts! Almost everyone has Facebook on their phone so just say to them, “hey let’s open up our phones right now and add each other on Facebook”.

Identify vital vs. Non-vital activities.

Our change makers group is so powerful it actually makes it easy for us to INVITE PEOPLE WE TALK TO OFFLINE, NOT JUST ONLINE.

I will share an offline experience I had so you can run with it in your offline whereabouts as well!

We have so much training for how to do this online so this is a rare moment for an offline education 🙂

I was talking with a nice young lady about something that I honestly don’t remember. Like with most conversations it naturally shifted to what we do for work. She shared with me that her job is okay but she felt like it was wearing her down over time and just wanted more time freedom to be able to do more of what she likes to do.

I responded with empathy by telling her “I hear you. I love my time freedom and being able to do things I want to do as well. I don’t want my life micromanage by a boss either.”

She nodded in agreement.

At this point a little nudge went off in my head and it just felt so right and so comfortable to say the following, “some friends and myself started a group on Facebook for people interested in making better money, having more time freedom, and living a chemical-free healthy life. We have some good info and a short 7 minute video pinned at the top of our group. I would be happy to add you to our group so you can check it out if you’d like.”

To which she responded enthusiastically, “yes”!

We got out our smartphones and friended up with each other on Facebook before parting ways. Immediately after parting ways I added her to our changemakers group, tagged her in the announcement post, and private messaged her.

The powerful take away from this is at anytime offline or online it feels natural just to say, “I’ve got this Facebook group my friends and myself started for people who are interested in better money and living a chemical-free healthy life. We included some good info and a short 7 Minute video pinned at the top of the group. I’m happy to add you if you would like.” As they say yes you just simply add them, tag them, and private message them as you learned in the blueprint document for the change makers group.

Pain points around money and wellness already come up all the time in our everyday conversations with people both online and offline. Our change makers group gives us a super simple way to offer solutions, create impact, and develop our businesses all at the same time.

Depending on what somebody tells you, you can personalize the invitation. The lady in this example said she wanted more time Freedom so I included the bit about time freedom in my example.

Give yourself a goal every day of how many interested prospects you are going to add to our change makers group, tag in the pinned post at the top, and a private message.

The Birthday Strategy!

There is an area on Facebook that will show you all of your friends who have a birthday today and who had one yesterday.

I love wishing my friends a Happy Birthday! I personalize each and every message. I would be doing this with or without a business because it just feels good to recognize friends on their birthdays, especially when they write back expressing so much gratitude that you took a moment to wish them a happy birthday.

The daily birthday strategy only takes between 1 and 4 minutes. It serves a couple of important purposes for business in addition to making you feel good as a human being.

The first purpose it serves is it helps you stay connected with your audience on a one-to-one basis. You never know with whom a meaningful conversation might be started that could potentially lead toward business. I can’t tell you how many times I would wish someone a happy birthday and they would respond by asking me what it is that I do because they are inspired by the different posts they see me sharing on my Facebook. Or maybe I invited them in the past and they’ve been meaning to get back in touch with me about that and since I am here wishing them a happy birthday they figure it’s a good time to revisit possibly joining our team.

Sometimes they flat-out tell me they want to know more about making better money or they want to know more about living a healthier lifestyle.

The second purpose of the birthday strategy is to constantly clean up your Facebook friends list on a daily basis. When I’m private messaging people to wish them a happy birthday and I come across someone who has not written me back in a couple of years, or, they just aren’t a good fit for me for whatever reason that I see, I simply unfriended them. It doesn’t mean they are a bad person or any of that it just means we have no meaningful connection so I will make room for others.

Facebook only allows a maximum of 5000 friends. You have to treat each of those 5000 spots as a valuable commodity in that particular context.

Make the birthday strategy a part of your daily habits. It only takes between 1 and 4 minutes. After just one year you will literally have had a 1 to 1 reach out with everybody on your friends list in between 1 and 4 minutes 🙂

Don’t be rigid about these examples. Use your own wording and make them personal whenever possible. What I mean by that is if someone shares with you that they’d like better energy because they are always feeling sluggish you can say we started a Facebook group for people interested in better energy and less sluggishness etc.

If someone says they are tired of their job and want more time freedom to do what they like you can say we started a Facebook group for people interested in making better money so they can have more free time to do more of what they’d like etc.

Line up the solution to meet their needs as much as you honestly can.

Take for example the farmers of Bangladesh.

Such a simple solution to a problem that hit generations of chicken farmers and all it took was one innovative person willing to question the traditional way of doing things.

Just because there is a way of doing things, doesn’t mean it’s the right way. It could be the right way for 99% of everyone else, but it could still be the wrong way for you.

This comes from Diana MacCargar, fellow coach, who put together this SIMPLE strategy for inviting, building an audience, and engaging with that audience all at the same time! This might be about as efficient as it gets, to be able to combine all the daily vital profit producing activities into one simple strategy.

1.) Create GREAT engaging posts related to wellness, money, healthy and fitness (recipes, photos of food, pictures of your workouts, tips you’ve given etc).

2.) Go back every week to re visit those posts from the week prior, pm an INVITATION to all of your friends who liked commented or shared, and pm a “let’s connect” message to everyone who is not on your friends list along with a friend request.

I will add a third & fourth VERY effective steps to this simple strategy..

3.) As you’re going back to revisit these posts from the week prior, add another comment of engagement to the more popular posts and edit the original posts themselves. This re populates these posts back into the newsfeeds for more eyeballs on the posts AND it sends a notification to everyone already engaged on those posts to check it out again because there is new info added.

4.) Look for those individuals engaged on those posts who have large networks and lots of engagement on their own profile pages and begin to follow their friends who are engaging on their posts. Some of them will follow you back, some of them will friend request you so long as your profile is attractive when they check you out, and some of them will be interested in your offers.

No I’m not teaching paid ads! But let’s explore a fascinating perspective on the quality of the type of income we are creating here..

In traditional business if you invest a thousand bucks in advertising and you make a thousand bucks or less it’s a failure.

Traditional business cannot touch what we have <3

If you advertise for a thousand bucks and you break even on return you’re going to turn a profit on the back end RESIDUAL and passive income <3 <3

You could even get less back than what you invested which would create an initial loss but then come out ahead once the residuals kick in!

How much ahead? It’s incalculable. It’s potentially infinite!

In traditional business as well as at a job you are paid only once per effort and only once per investment.

Actually it’s BETTER than than.

We earn 100% commission; PURE PROFIT on EVERYTHING.

You are not buying inventory, advertising, lawyers, all the things that takes away from profit we are not doing. That’s what traditional business owners do and their profit margins are terrible compared to ours because we are pure profit.

We are literally leveraging a whole other company to build our respective companies. This is the KING of leveraged income <3

Several years ago I was looking at my more traditional business that my beachbody business afforded me to be able to spring board into. It’s a rental property business. I made about ninety thousand dollars that year but my expenses were approximately eighty thousand. So even though my income was ninity thousand I only made a measely ten thousand because the expenses of a traditional business is so high! In my beachbody we spend fifteen bucks per month. That’s only about one hundred and eighty dollars per year in expenses!

In this leveraged business model you have the potential of generating six or seven figures per year with a business expense subtracting only one hundred and eighty dollars. Traditional business will NEVER experience profit margins like that. If you were to share this with them you’ll find a plurality of traditional business owners don’t believe you and won’t even consider looking at this because it seems to good to be true.

My FAVORITE follow up is, “hey friend how’ve you been?”

In my experience I’ve never had success following up with people specifically about the offer. Others have had huge amounts of success following up in a very strategic way specifically about the offer. Try different follow up methods and see which yields you the most results.

Here are more examples of follow ups and then I

I’ll explain why I believe I’ve had more success using these…

“How was your holiday?”

“What’s new and exciting?”

I’ll see something on their timeline and I will ask about that.

I’ll see they’ve accomplished something and I’ll praise and compliment, maybe ask how it feels.

I’ll see they’ve shared a goal, an ambition, or something they are going to try that maybe they are nervous about but going to do it anyway and I’ll encourage, praise, compliment, empower, give them a genuine vote of confidence..

Sometimes I will say these things in reply to posts on their wall and PM, or just PM, but ALWAYS PM.

Sometimes they will write me back re initiating conversation with me about my offer.

When I follow up with people this way, these are things I would have said anyway with or without a business because it’s who I am to genuinely reach out and check in with people.

I personally more frequently end up moving forward in business conversations more often this way than in traditional follow ups that seem to raise resistance.

There have been many times I totally forgot I’ve invited someone and just merely asking “hey how’ve you been?” sparks them to re-engage about my offer.

My feeling is if you don’t make someone feel weird for not being ready right now, you make them feel comfortable with whatever decision they make, then when they are ready in their own time you are more likely to be their only logical choice for them to go to. And sometimes all it takes is a simple “Hey howe’ve you been? What’s new and good in life?”.

No matter how badly you know what we have could save a friend or family members life, or at least significantly improve the quality of their life, they are most likely going to resist if we don’t get their permission to share our good info with them first.

This is an important attraction marketing principal.

If you would like to share our opportunity with people who are interested in learning what we have and possibly signing up with us, make it attractive.

An easy peasy way to make it attractive is to get their permission before sending them any information.

An easy peasy way to make this unattractive is to send them information or make them an offer without their permission.

One of my many methods I’ve practiced with success under the umbrella of attraction is a simple two step invitation process. First I’d get their permission and then I’d send them information.

i.e. Hey friend I signed up for a health and wellness business. Can I have your permission to send you some good info on it? I think you might really like what I have. I ALWAYS like to ask permission first before I send anything just out of good courtesy.

Another popular one for attraction marketers and prospectors is to ask who is open and then share.

i.e. Hey friend would you be open to looking at a new health and wellness business I just got into? I think you might really like the product. If not, no big deal.

The one I like MOST is this one..

That is going to much more relatable and DIGESTIBLE and believable to your audience than sharing with them that you just bought your 7th house and now you’re looking at what to do with all the piles of cash you’re making. Believe it or not those huge claims, even if they are true, turns the majority of people off and they just don’t believe them.

Soak up the fact you are relatable, digestible, believable, and LEVERAGE your successes no matter the size.

Share the fact you just covered a tank of gas. For most people that is huge because 80% of the country is living paycheck to paycheck. Share the fact your opportunity covered half your grocery bill, a portion of your rent or mortgage, a night at the movies, whatever the case may be share it!

As your successes become larger they will become more believable because the audience you’ve been building along the way will see it and start to ask themselves why they are not yet asking you how they can get started too!

If you’re new and haven’t made any money, yet, don’t fret! A success does not have to be monetary.

i.e. I’m in shock. People actually want to see what I’m doing. I didn’t think it would work. I’m following these attraction principals I’ve been learning in this Natural Health business I do online (I’ve NEVER built a business of any kind before) and my business is actually growing now. People are writing me, coming to ME, asking ME to send them some information!

See how cool that is? Think outside of the box of only sharing financial successes. Think outside the box of sharing what you see everyone else is sharing and stand out from the crowd. Activity ALWAYS precedes results <3

Consume training and create ACTION on the daily.

Instead of focusing on the results you’d love to have, focus on the activity that creates the results you want.

My story is a GREAT example of what I’m talking about so please allow me to share this with you because it really makes a POWERFUL point in REAL LIFE to learn from.

The last two months of 2009 is when I became consistent and focused on the activity on a daily basis instead of the results I wanted.

Around June / July of 2010 I began to receive messages from other coaches congratulating me on earning SUCCESS CLUB every month since it’s conception and for being in the running for the first ever Team Beachbody Success Club MEGA Vacation.

I had no idea what they were talking about. It sure got me curious so I did some research and discovered this new incentive structure called SUCCESS CLUB that had just started in January of 2010.

I was in it every month and had no idea about it! I was soooooooo focused on the activity day in and day out that I had tunnel vision. Results no longer mattered to me. They did matter, I was actually desperate because I had no job and no income coming in from ANYWHERE else at that time. But I came to realize through personal development that the more desperate I was for results the more of my focus I needed to take away from the results and channeled into the activity. Emotionally that was not easy to do! But I forced myself through my personal development studies and went on that MEGA Trip that I did not have to pay a dime on <3

My story demonstrates in real life how important personal development is as well as being focused on consistent daily activity if you want to have results.

There is another important lesson here than just the two.

Results probably are not going to come if you need them. You have to work consistently on the activities that precedes them.
