Your health is your wealth, but, it’s nice to be financially independent too.
We live in a culture that has normalized saying yes to one thing while saying no to another.
It’s either this or either that you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
That is a poor and lazy mindset.
Here is why I do not subscribe to the philosophy of either or.
Let’s use the example of health and wealth.
If you’re going to choose one but not the other then you don’t have to grow yourself and expand your brain as much to look for answers and find solutions to achieve one vs both.
If you promise yourself you are going to become Healthy and Wealthy then you’re forced to grow yourself and unleash the creativity of your brain to search for answers and find Solutions.
Yes and yes is a rich and creative process.
Yes and no is not creative.
It’s a poor and lazy mindset.
Promise yourself you’re going to go through whatever personal growth journey is necessary so you can have health, wealth, freedom and Independence, fill in the blank with whatever turns you on.
Commit yourself to doing whatever it takes to figuring out how to have your cake and eat it too.
As great as the destination will be of achieving your goals, it will actually pale in comparison to how you will feel about who you became to be the person who is capable of achieving those goals.
That’s where the real value is in trashing this yes and no Philosophy for a yes and yes philosophical driver in your life.
